SEIU 200United Members
Make The Brewster Central School District Great
The Bus Drivers & Monitors who pick up and drop off the students are 200United members. So are the Mechanics who maintain the buses and the dispatchers who assist the drivers. The Food Service workers who prepare and serve breakfast & lunch to students are members too. You can’t forget about the Teacher’s Aides in the classrooms and the School’s Office staff. They are all 200United members. All the Cleaners, Groundskeepers & Maintiance workers are all members too.
The SEIU 200United Members are more than justt employees of the district, they are part of the Brewster Community. Besides working for BCSD they live in the distrit. Some members are graduates of BCSD and others have children & grandchildren who attend or attended BCSD.

Support: Committee on Political Education
Together we fight for fair wages, safe working conditions, and respect in workplaces from NYC to Buffalo, and from Bennington to Erie. Our political and legislative agenda seeks to tear down income inequality, hold greedy corporations accountable, and improve lives in all corners of our communities.
Member Strength Initiative
Our initiative is to move our Local forward. We started in 2012 by bringing members from around the state together to talk about our goals:
· To build a network of leaders, 1% of our Union members, who will organize activists.
· To recruit 10% of our Union members, 1,500 people, to fight against income inequality, engage in political action, and help new workers join our Union.
